Choose Pattie Glenn, Your Professional REALTOR®
A competitive market study and cost-benefit-risk analysis helps to determine how green building ideologies and renovation technologies can best save money, energy, water, and resources to protect comfort, health, and safety. Such value-added strategies are especially attractive in today’s recovering market. It’s more than sticks and bricks—It’s about nurturing that spirit of value-creation into a return-on-investment.
Find comfort in knowing your real estate professional is trained to recognize, certify, and convey property value that saves money, energy, water, and resources, which promotes durability while it protects your comfort, health and safety.
Our Green$mart® Team is specifically trained to offer positive solutions to enhance the value of your home!
Equally as important, a building science approach when combined with training, helps diffuse obstacles, to transform a failed roof or inoperable HVAC into an opportunity to increase efficiency and safe money and increased health. Whether you are a seller or buyer, Pattie can offer positive solutions, whenever situations arise that might otherwise threaten a sale. Now, you can quantify green value on a balance sheet through reduced operating and maintenance costs. Just imagine what building science can do to improve the quality of your health, with higher indoor air quality from lower allergens and less toxic chemicals in the living and work environments. |
GreenSmart®'s Journey toward Healthier HomesMotivated by the hope of a healthier home for her family, Pattie Glenn spearheaded an innovative Florida Team of REALTORS® in 1996, to pioneer the start-up of award-winning, market-driven, high performance ENERGY STAR® Communities in Alachua County.
This led to founding her company, GreenSmart®, Inc. in 1999, which earned a registered Federal Trademark and Service Mark in 2002 for green consulting in lending, marketing and sales, green building certification, and sustainable land development, along with developing environmental educational materials, including creating the Psychographics of the Green Consumer and the GreenSmart® Pro 101 Designation Course. In 2013, Glenn earned a 215 Insurance License and graduated Valedictorian from Full Sail University with a BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment. Inducted in 1997 as a Member of the NAHB Institute of Residential Marketing, Glenn served as instructor for many of NAHB’s University of Housing’s designation courses, including Master Certified Green Professional; Land Development, Acquisition and Financing; and Certified New Home Sales Professional Courses. Touted as the nation's first Green Realtor, Glenn delivered her first GreenSmart® training to educate REALTORS® how to go green at NAR's 2003 Conference in Chicago. Glenn was honored to serve as spokesperson and trainer for The GBI, in their 2004 national rollout of NAHB's Green Model Guidelines. Glenn's altruism includes anti-domestic violence advocacy, volunteering with seniors, and helping families impacted by traumatic brain injury. She sang in the praise choir at Grace United Methodist Church, and was solo vocalist for the Gainesville Big Band for ten years. Married twenty five years to her husband, Rick, her passion for creative writing is often inspired by a gaggle of wildly creative grandchildren. |
